Winter Tanka Poems
autumn is over
snow flurries begin to fall
golden moments gone
now celebrating winter
without winter no springtime
water tumbling down
streams rise high as the rain falls
pounding rocks rolling
new path is formed across fields
mother nature changed the scene
chilly winter day
garden was spectacular
with dusk approaching
cool air chilling the late blooms
some will not shine tomorrow
trees show many signs
true lovers of the moist earth
flourishing clean leaves
watching droplets of water
moisturising the roots below
clouds approaching fast
the swell was getting bigger
whipping the coastline
as the sea took on revenge
of a incoming rain storm
